Overview
The experience unfolds in a sunlit atelier in Rome. It begins with a quiet dialogue with Claudia, then opens into a free, intuitive journey through the studio’s creative stations. Pure pigments and large canvases invite intuitive painting; words take shape on precious papers; collages emerge from fragments of Rome, ancient maps, vintage graphics, and gold leaf. Fine Italian paper, Japanese watercolours, Sumi inks, and artist-grade tools guide your hand, while a wall of shimmering silk paintings offers contemplation and inspiration.
You create at your own pace, following intuition alone. At the pivotal moment, you entrust your fragments to Claudia. In the days that follow, she harmonises them into a resolved composition, sealed in acrylic, that you will receive at home. An artwork that echoes your journey and the creative energy of Rome.

Meet the Expert
Claudia Palmira
Claudia Palmira is a New York-born artist and designer based in Rome since 2006. She is the creator of Calligraphic Abstractionism and of Iconics/Poetics, a prolific series and book of artwork printed on luminous acrylic glass. Her work has been exhibited at the Circolo degli Esteri and the American Embassy, with a forthcoming exhibition at the studio of Alberto di Fabio (April 2026). She is also featured in the documentary Women in Progress (2024).
Her design agency leads international cultural projects, including the art direction of Laudato Si’ at Palazzo Braschi (2024) and the Sacred Convent of Assisi (2025). She is the founder of Clù, a luxury silk scarf line featuring her original artworks, including the Aria Scarf, sold at the Met Opera Shop and online worldwide. She is the author of the forthcoming book Micro Daily Practice on unblocking creativity.
She serves as Vice President of the Italian Academy Foundation, graduated from Mount Holyoke College, and is President of its Alumnae Association in Italy.
